At Studebaker Acres, our journey began in 2012 when we embarked on the mission to provide locally grown, farm-fresh produce to the Fredonia, Independence, and Chanute Farmer’s Markets. Since then, we’ve been dedicated to cultivating a wide array of vegetables and fruits, ensuring our customers have access to the highest quality produce.

Our crops encompass a delicious variety, including strawberries, asparagus, peas, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, green beans, cucumbers, sweet corn, cantaloupe, and pecans. Each of these crops is nurtured with care and attention, resulting in vibrant flavors and exceptional quality.

One of our most exciting ventures is our Pick Your Own Strawberries patch. We’ve adopted an annual system for growing strawberries, which requires meticulous care but yields impressive results. Our strawberries are renowned for their exceptional sweetness, juiciness, and vibrant red color throughout— a far cry from the bland, pale berries commonly found in stores.

Stay tuned for our upcoming Pick Your Own Blueberries and Blackberries! While we planted the bushes in April 2023, it may take until the summer of 2025 for the berries to be ready for picking. We’re eagerly anticipating the opportunity to share these delicious berries with our community.
